POLYMER ANION

Description:
POLYMER ANION is the most efficient and popular chemicals flocculant used for waste-water processing.

Advantages:
- This chemical causes a very little increase in salinity and very small changes in the pH level
- Saving the area of stock because of it powder form
- It is very easily soluble in water

Applications:
-Using in Industrial wastewater treatment, urban wastewater treatment, especially in surface water treatment processes there are 2 stages will occur when POLYMER ANION is added into wastewater
=> Coagulation: colloids are adsorbed by polymer and become unstabilized
=> Flocculation: colloids will combine together, making small flocs and then bigger flocs. After that, the sedimentation of these big flocs will occur.
Sludge from this processing is dense and little
Other fields: Retention aids for papermaking industry, adhesives and feed additives in aquafeed

Safety for use:
- Polymer anion can cause skin and eye irritation. Therefore, using Personal Protective
Equipments (Protective clothing, safety goggles, gloves, gauze mask goggles...) is essential before exposing chemical.

Storage:
- Because of high corrosive ability, this chemical should be storage in equips made from glass, epoxy, Stainless Steel, plastic.
- Do not storage it in aluminum, copper or Iron equipments.
- The backage should be carefully tied down after opening because polymer anion can be clotted after exposing to water and air
- Storage time can be 24 months if polymer anion was well – preserved in appropriate temperature conditions (under 40 °C)

Notes: Polymer particles are very slippery so they should be collected and carefully rinsed with water
